Editing your own work is tough. That is why there is a whole industry of editors whose sole job it is to make you sound like a million bucks.
Unfortunately not all of us can afford to hire one of these professionals and have to resort to editing our own blogs and articles. The results can vary depending on a multitude of factors but at the end of the day us humans just aren’t great at editing our own work.
Its harder for us to spot flaws and everything flows the way we think it should, since our brain wrote it. It is easier to miss spelling and syntax mistakes – that is just how our brain works.
